Sick GL6-N1212 Photoelectric Sensor

The Sick GL6-N1212 Photoelectric Sensor (Part No. 1060814) is a compact photoelectric retro-reflective sensor engineered for high-performance object detection in industrial automation. Utilizing a dual-lens system with polarization filters, it ensures reliable detection even with reflective surfaces, while maintaining a sensing range of 0.07 m to 5 m (max. 6 m). The sensor employs a visible red PinPoint LED (650 nm), producing a precise Ø 8 mm light spot at 350 mm, ideal for accurate positioning.

Equipped with an adjustable 270° potentiometer, users can fine-tune sensitivity for varied applications. The sensor provides NPN output with selectable light/dark switching, a fast response time (<625 µs), and 1,000 Hz switching frequency, supporting high-speed operations.

Constructed with a robust ABS/PC housing and PMMA front screen, the GL6-N1212 offers IP67-rated protection, ensuring durability in harsh environments. It includes a 2 m PVC cable, stainless steel mounting bracket, and reflector P250 for easy setup.
