P&F NBN8-18GM50-E2 Proximity Sensor

The P&F NBN8-18GM50-E2 Proximity Sensor delivers high-performance object detection with a rated sensing distance of 8 mm and a normally open (NO) PNP output. Its non-flush installation design allows reliable operation in various industrial settings, with an assured detection range up to 6.48 mm. The sensor uses a 3-wire DC configuration and operates over a broad voltage range of 5 to 36 V.

Thanks to its high switching frequency of 1650 Hz, it supports fast and precise detection, while its typical 5% hysteresis ensures stable performance. Integrated reverse polarity and short-circuit protection provide robust protection in demanding environments. It also features a voltage drop ≤ 1 V, with low current consumption (≤ 10 mA no-load, max 20 µA off-state).

The sensor is built to last, featuring white bronze-coated brass housing and a durable green PBT sensing face. With a protection rating of IP65 / IP66 / IP67 / IP68, it is fully sealed against dust, water, and harsh conditions. A yellow LED indicates switching status, and the device achieves readiness in ≤ 10 ms.
