The (Pepperl + Fuchs) P&F NBB8-18GM50-E2 Inductive Sensor (NBB818GM50E2), (Part Number: 85499) is a robust inductive proximity sensor engineered for precise non-contact metal detection with a rated operating distance of 8 mm and an assured range up to 6.48 mm. Designed for flush mounting, it integrates seamlessly into tight installation spaces.

Equipped with a PNP normally open (NO) output, it supports DC polarity and operates over a wide voltage range of 5 to 60 V. The sensor delivers fast detection with a switching frequency up to 1500 Hz, making it suitable for high-speed automation tasks.

Protection features include reverse polarity, pulsing short-circuit protection, inductive overvoltage protection, and surge suppression, ensuring reliable operation in harsh environments. It handles currents up to 200 mA, with a low voltage drop (≤ 2 V) and minimal off-state current.
