    Panasonic PM-Y65 Photoelectric Sensor

    The Panasonic PM-Y65 Photoelectric Sensor is a compact photoelectric sensor designed for high-precision detection applications. With a fixed sensing range of 6 mm, it reliably detects objects as small as 0.8 × 1.2 mm. The sensor features high repeatability (0.01 mm) and low hysteresis (0.05 mm or less), ensuring accuracy in industrial automation and assembly line processes.

    Powered by a 5 to 24V DC supply, the PM-Y65 has an NPN open-collector transistor output with both Light-ON and Dark-ON modes. It boasts fast response times of 20 µs (light received) and 80 µs (light interrupted), supporting a maximum response frequency of 3 kHz. An orange LED indicator provides clear status updates.

    The infrared LED emitter (855 nm peak emission wavelength) enhances detection performance, while its rugged PBT enclosure ensures IP40 protection. Designed for durability, the sensor withstands shock up to 15,000 m/s² and vibration up to 2,000 Hz, making it ideal for demanding industrial environments.
