Panasonic CX-421 Photoelectric Sensor

The Panasonic CX-421 Photoelectric Sensor (CX421, UCX421) offers a sensing range of 300 mm, suitable for various applications. It can detect opaque, translucent, or transparent objects, though it's advisable to verify detection with an actual sensor before use. With a repeatability of 1 mm or less and hysteresis of 15% or less, it ensures accurate and reliable operation.

Operating on a supply voltage of 12 to 24 V DC, the sensor has low current consumption of 13 mA or less. The Panasonic CX-421 Photoelectric Sensor features an NPN open-collector transistor output with short-circuit protection, offering flexibility with switchable Light-ON or Dark-ON operation. The response time is swift, at 1 ms or less.

This sensor is ideal for high-precision tasks in industries requiring reliable object detection, offering protection against shock and vibration, and can extend up to 100 m with an appropriate cable.
