Panasonic CX-411 Photoelectric Sensor

The Panasonic CX-411 Photoelectric Sensor, renowned for its versatility, is a thrubeam photoelectric sensor engineered for long-range, high-precision object detection. With a sensing range of up to 10 meters (32.808 ft), it can detect opaque objects as small as Ø12 mm, or as small as Ø0.5 mm when using optional slit masks. It supports a 12 to 24 V DC power supply with low current consumption—15 mA for the emitter, 10 mA for the receiver.

The sensor provides a fast response time of 1 ms or less, with an NPN open-collector transistor output capable of sinking up to 100 mA. It features Light-ON/Dark-ON switchable operation, short-circuit protection, and excellent repeatability of 0.5 mm or less.

Visual indicators include an orange LED (output ON), a green LED (stability), and a power LED on the emitter. A continuously variable sensitivity adjuster is built-in for easy tuning.

Designed for industrial reliability, it offers IP67 protection, anti-interference functionality, and withstands shock, vibration, and harsh ambient conditions from -25°C to +55°C.
