The Omron E3FA-DP12 2M Photoelectric Sensor is a robust cylinder-type diffuse-reflective sensor designed for precise object detection in industrial environments. With a sensing distance of up to 300 mm (using white paper 300 x 300 mm) and a spot size of 40 x 50 mm at maximum range, it ensures reliable performance. Powered by a red LED light source (624 nm), it delivers a differential distance of 20% max for accurate detection.

The Omron E3FA-DP12 2M Photoelectric Sensor operates on a 10–30 VDC power supply and consumes a maximum of 25 mA. Its PNP open collector output supports up to 100 mA with a residual voltage of 3 V max. The operation mode is selectable between Light-ON and Dark-ON, with a swift response time of 0.5 ms. Adjusting sensitivity is easy with a single-turn adjustment mechanism.

Engineered for durability, the E3FA-DP12 2M withstands operating temperatures from -25 to 55°C and features IP67 and IP69K protection, ensuring resistance to dust, water, and high-pressure cleaning. Its ABS case, PMMA lens, and POM adjustment knob provide long-lasting reliability.

The sensor actively protects against short circuits, reverse polarity, and power surges—ensuring safe, reliable operation in demanding environments.
