The Datasensing/Datalogic S6-5-M25 (S937830000) Photoelectric Sensor is a compact and reliable background suppression photoelectric sensor designed for precise object detection in industrial automation, packaging, material handling, and conveyor systems. Featuring a 250 mm sensing distance, the sensor accurately detects objects while effectively ignoring background surfaces, ensuring dependable operation in demanding applications. 

The sensor offers NPN/PNP selectable outputs with Light/Dark (L/D) selectable operation, providing maximum flexibility for integration into different industrial control systems. Equipped with a trimmer sensitivity adjustment, it allows quick and accurate setup according to specific application requirements. The 500 Hz switching frequency and fast 1 ms response time ensure reliable performance in high-speed automation processes.

Operating on a 10–30 VDC supply voltage, the S6-5-M25 incorporates essential protection features including short-circuit protection, reverse polarity protection, and impulsive overvoltage protection for enhanced durability and operational safety. Dual LED indicators, including red for output status and green for stability, provide clear visual monitoring.
