The Autonics BUP-50S-P Photoelectric Sensors is a high-precision through-beam U-Shaped photo sensor designed for reliable object detection in industrial automation. With a 50 mm sensing distance and capability to detect opaque targets as small as Ø1.5 mm, it ensures accurate performance in demanding environments.

The sensor uses a stable infrared LED (940 nm) light source and offers a fast 1 ms response time, making it suitable for high-speed applications. Operating on 12–24 VDC with low 30 mA consumption, it supports both Light ON/Dark ON modes, selectable via control wire. The PNP open collector output provides easy integration with modern control systems.

Built with durable ABS and polycarbonate housing and rated IP66, it withstands tough ambient conditions including sunlight up to 11,000 lx and temperatures from -10°C to 60°C. The BUP-50S-P comes with a convenient adjuster driver and includes a robust Ø4 mm, 2 m cable for flexible installation.
