The Autonics BUP-30S Photoelectric Sensor is a high-precision through-beam U-Shaped type photoelectric sensor designed for reliable detection of small opaque objects in industrial automation environments. With a 30 mm sensing distance and ability to detect materials as small as Ø1.5 mm, it offers exceptional accuracy for applications such as part counting, positioning, edge detection, and micro-component verification.

The sensor uses a 940 nm infrared LED to ensure stable performance even under challenging ambient lighting conditions, with resistance up to 11,000 lx of sunlight and 3,000 lx of incandescent light. Featuring a fast 1 ms response time, NPN open collector output, and selectable Light ON/Dark ON modes, it provides flexible integration with a variety of control systems.
