The Sick IME12-08NPSZC0S Proximity Sensor is a robust M12 cylindrical inductive proximity sensor engineered for accurate non-contact detection of metallic objects. With a sensing range (Sn) of 8 mm and a safe operating distance (Sa) of 6.48 mm, it provides dependable performance in industrial automation applications. It features a non-flush mounting design, a PNP NO output, and supports DC 3-wire electrical wiring.
The sensor operates on a 10–30 V DC supply and offers a switching frequency of 2,000 Hz for fast detection. Designed for durability, it comes with an IP67 enclosure rating and includes two nickel-plated brass mounting nuts for secure installation. Its M12 male connector (4-pin) ensures easy and reliable connection. With a low voltage drop ≤ 2 V and ripple tolerance up to 10%, this sensor is ideal for demanding environments.
