Sick GL6-P1111 Photoelectric Sensor

The Sick GL6-P1111 Photoelectric Sensor (Part No. 1050708) is a compact photoelectric retro-reflective sensor designed for reliable detection over long ranges in industrial automation. Featuring a dual-lens system with polarization filters, it ensures precise detection of reflective objects while minimizing interference. It offers a sensing range of 0.07 m to 5 m (max. 6 m), using a visible red PinPoint LED (650 nm) with a clearly defined light spot size of Ø8 mm at 350 mm for accuracy.

This sensor provides PNP output with selectable light/dark switching, a fast response time (<625 µs), and a switching frequency of 1,000 Hz, enabling high-speed applications. It operates on a 10–30 V DC supply, with low 30 mA current consumption and supports up to 100 mA output current.

Housed in durable ABS/PC plastic with a PMMA front screen, the GL6-P1111 offers IP67 protection and comes with a 2 m PVC cable for easy installation.
