Leuze PRK5B.M1/4 Photoelectric Sensor

The Leuze PRK5B.M1/4 Photoelectric Sensor (50149298) is a compact and reliable photoelectric retro-reflective sensor designed for demanding detection tasks involving bottle containers, semi-transparent media, and transparent films.

Based on the reflection principle, it delivers a guaranteed sensing range of 0.03 to 4.5 m and a typical range up to 6 m when used with a suitable reflector. The sensor uses a red LED light source (645 nm) with pulsed signal transmission, ensuring stable detection even in challenging applications.

Equipped with a PNP transistor output and light switching principle, it supports a switching frequency of 500 Hz and a fast 1 ms response time. Sensitivity can be precisely adjusted via a 270° potentiometer.

Housed in a robust PC-ABS enclosure with IP67 protection, the PRK5B.M1/4 operates reliably in harsh environments from –40 °C to +60 °C. Its ECOLAB compatibility, compact design, and simple mounting make it ideal for packaging and automation systems.
