The Leuze PRK5B/2X-M8 Photoelectric Sensor (50145253) is a compact, versatile sensor built for industrial automation. Operating on the reflection principle, it features a red LED light source (645 nm) for precise detection. Its guaranteed sensing range spans 0.02 to 5 m with a TK(S) 100×100 reflector, extending to a typical range of 6.5 m.

This model uses an NPN transistor for Light-ON switching, with Dark-ON achievable by reversing supply polarity. With a 1 ms response time and 500 Hz switching frequency, it supports high-speed applications. The 4-pin M8 male connector ensures quick and secure system integration.

Housed in durable PC-ABS plastic with a plastic lens cover, the sensor is rated IP67, offering robust protection against dust and water. It includes LED indicators for operational status and integrates short-circuit and polarity reversal protection for added safety.
