The TDK CXA-0308 CCFL Inverter (9Z29T) serves as a reliable dual-lamp LCD backlight inverter, engineered to drive CCFL or EL lamps with precision. It operates on a 10.8–13.2V DC input (typically 12V), supplying up to 600 Vrms, with start-up voltages reaching 1250 Vrms. Each lamp receives ~5 mArms, ensuring bright, stable output. The inverter supports PWM dimming, analog brightness control (0–2.5V or 0–50 kΩ), and features integrated current feedback for protection.

It also activates a +5V alarm signal during lamp failure or open circuit. TDK enhances insulation and longevity by applying a silicone coating over high-voltage areas. Measuring just 105 × 25 × 8.5 mm, the compact design fits seamlessly into space-constrained systems. With an operating temperature range of –10 °C to +70 °C, this inverter excels in demanding industrial and display environments.
