The Sick GRL18S-P2336 Photoelectric Sensor (Part No. 1058192) is a high-performance photoelectric retro-reflective sensor featuring a dual-lens system for accurate detection with a minimum distance to the reflector. It provides a sensing range of 0.06 m to 6 m (maximum 7.2 m), emitting visible red light (650 nm) through a PinPoint LED that produces a focused 175 mm light spot at 7 m, ensuring precise and reliable object detection.

Designed for fast and responsive applications, the sensor offers a response time under 500 µs and a switching frequency of 1,000 Hz. It operates on 10–30 VDC, with a PNP output and supports up to 100 mA output current. Built without manual adjustment, it simplifies installation and use in fixed-range applications.

The unit features a compact cylindrical M18 × 1 housing (18 × 18 × 38.1 mm), PMMA optics, and a 3-pin M12 connector. Its IP67 rating and -25 °C to +55 °C operating range make it suitable for tough industrial environments.
