The Sick GL6G-P4212 Photoelectric Sensor (Part No. 1060810) is a compact photoelectric retro-reflective sensor engineered for precise and reliable detection, including transparent objects. It operates using a dual-lens system and incorporates polarization filters, ensuring stable detection at distances from 0.07 to 5 meters, with a maximum range of 6 meters.

Equipped with a PinPoint visible red LED (650 nm), the sensor produces a focused 8 mm light spot at 350 mm, enabling accurate object detection even in challenging environments. A 270° potentiometer allows easy sensitivity adjustment, while a light/dark selector offers flexible switching control.

Housed in a rugged ABS/PC enclosure with an IP67 rating, the sensor resists dust and moisture, making it ideal for industrial automation. Its fast 625 µs response time, 100 mA PNP output, and M8 4-pin connector ensure seamless integration.
