The (Pepperl+Fuchs) P&F OBT200-18GM60-E4-V1 Diffuse Mode Sensor  (OBT20018GM60E4V1) is a compact infrared diffuse sensor designed for reliable object detection up to 200 mm. It uses an IRED (infrared emitter diode) at 880 nm and detects standard white targets (200 × 200 mm). The light spot measures approximately 40 mm at 200 mm, allowing broad-area coverage. Its dual-color LED clearly indicates status: green for power, yellow for switch state, and flashing for stability control.

The sensor supports light/dark switching, adjustable via an external selector, and offers 1 NPN open-collector output that is both short-circuit and reverse polarity protected. Operating on 10–30 V DC, it consumes ≤25 mA and responds quickly with a 1 ms response time and 500 Hz switching frequency.

Built for industrial reliability, it features a nickel-plated brass housing with IP67 protection, making it resistant to dust and water. The sensor uses a 4-pin M12 connector for connection and complies with CE, cULus, and UL 508 standards. It operates in temperatures from -25 to +55 °C and measures 60 mm in length, 18 mm in diameter.
