The Pepperl+Fuchs GLV18-8-450-115-120 Diffuse Sensor (Part No. 188573) delivers precise object detection with an adjustable range of 50 to 450 mm, using a 100×100 mm Kodak white reference. It employs modulated red LED light (640 nm) with a 30 mm light spot at 400 mm and a 4° opening angle, ensuring high detection accuracy even under ambient lighting up to 30,000 Lux.

Equipped with 2 PNP complementary open-collector outputs, it supports light/dark switching, handles 30 V DC/100 mA max load, and features short-circuit protection. A ≤1 ms response time enables fast, reliable sensing, suitable for high-speed industrial tasks.

The sensor operates on 10–30 V DC with low current consumption (<20 mA), ensuring energy efficiency. Built with a durable PC housing, PMMA optical face, and PVC cable, it withstands tough conditions with IP67 protection and a temperature range of -25 °C to 60 °C. Weighing just 75 g, and measuring Ø18 × 39.8 mm, it's easy to install in compact setups. Made in Vietnam, it meets EN 60947-5-2, cULus, and CCC standards.
