    Panasonic LX-101-P-Z Color Mark Sensor

    The Panasonic LX-101-P-Z Color Mark Sensor, part number ULXp101PZ, is a compact, high-performance color mark sensor engineered for precision in packaging and printing applications. With a sensing range of 10 ± 3 mm and a spot size of 1 x 5 mm, it provides accurate detection even on small marks. Utilizing combined red, green, and blue LEDs, the sensor automatically selects the optimal wavelength for mark detection, supporting both color and contrast-based applications.

    The device features dual outputs (PNP open-collector transistors) with short-circuit protection and allows for Light-ON/Dark-ON switching, ensuring adaptability to various detection scenarios. Its response time is exceptionally fast—just 45 µs in mark mode and 150 µs in color mode, suitable for high-speed lines. A 4-digit red LED display and multi-level teaching modes simplify setup, while fine sensitivity adjustment and programmable ON/OFF-delay timers (1–500 ms) provide further customization.

    Housed in durable PBT with IP67 protection, the sensor is resistant to dust and water. It withstands vibration up to 20 G and shock up to 50 G, supporting reliable operation in demanding environments. The unit is CE-compliant and supports long-distance cable extension up to 100 m.
