The Panasonic EX-32A EX-32A Photoelectric Sensor (Part No. UEX32A) is a threaded miniature photoelectric sensor with a diffuse reflective sensing method, engineered for space-saving installation and precise detection of opaque, translucent, or transparent objects. It features a sensing range of 50 mm, with hysteresis ≤15% and repeatability of 0.5 mm, measured against standard white non-glossy paper. The sensor operates on 12–24 V DC, consuming just 13 mA, and provides an NPN open-collector output with built-in short-circuit protection.

Its fast 0.5 ms response time, along with orange (operation) and green (stability) indicators, ensures reliable and responsive performance. A continuously variable sensitivity adjuster allows fine-tuning for various target materials and backgrounds. Built with a nickel-plated die-cast zinc enclosure (IP67-rated) and acrylic lens, it resists dust, water, vibration (20 G), and shock (50 G), making it ideal for tough industrial settings. The unit comes with a 2 m cable, and extension is supported up to 50 m with 0.3 mm² cable.
