The Leuze LS46C-M12 Photoelectric Sensor is a robust through beam transmitter designed for precise detection in challenging industrial environments. It supports a sensing range of 0.5 to 120 meters, and can reach up to 150 meters, ensuring long-range accuracy.

Equipped with a 630 nm red LED light source, it offers clear visibility and operates on a divergent beam path for broad coverage. The sensor runs on a 10–30 V DC supply and draws a maximum of 20 mA open-circuit current, making it energy-efficient.

Engineered for reliability, it includes polarity reversal, short-circuit, and transient protection. Its PC-PBT housing and PMMA lens cover provide durability in tough conditions. With a compact size of 20.5 × 76.3 × 44 mm, it’s easy to integrate.

Certified IP67 and IP69K, and ECOLAB-compliant, the LS46C-M12 withstands high-pressure washdowns and cleaning agents. Operating from -40°C to 60°C, and manufactured in Malaysia, it meets IEC 60947-5-2 standards for industrial-grade performance.
