Jars KS-C2G Color Mark Sensor

The Jars KS-C2G Color Mark Sensor (KSC2G) is a contrast scanner features a compact 26 × 63 × 60 mm body and utilizes a coaxial reflex sensing method for high-precision contrast detection. It emits a green light spot ranging from φ0.5 to φ1.5 mm, supported by a 660 nm infrared LED, making it ideal for detecting opaque objects at a distance of 10 ± 2 mm.

Operators can easily adjust sensitivity, allowing the sensor to adapt to various materials and applications. It runs on a 10–30 VDC supply (±10%) and responds swiftly, with a frequency range of 0.1 to 1 ms.

To ensure protection and reliability, the sensor incorporates reverse polarity protection, a surge suppressor, and short-circuit protection. It withstands electrical stress with a dielectric strength of 1000 VAC for 1 minute and maintains an insulation resistance of 50 MΩ or more at 500 VDC.

Thanks to its IP67 rating, the KS-C2G resists dust and water, making it suitable for challenging environments. The aluminium die-cast (ABS) housing and PMMA lens provide both durability and optical clarity. The device operates reliably in temperatures from –30°C to 65°C and humidities up to 95%, ensuring performance even under tough conditions.
