Chi-Mei N121X5-L07 LCD Module

The Chi-Mei N121X5-L07 LCD Module, this 12.1-inch a-Si TFT-LCD panel delivers a 1024×768 (XGA) resolution at 105 PPI, ensuring sharp and clear visuals across its 245.76 × 184.32 mm active area. Housed in a slim 261 × 198 × 5 mm chassis, it’s well-suited for compact and embedded applications.

Despite its modest 150 cd/m² luminance, the panel provides reliable performance under controlled lighting. It achieves a 300:1 contrast ratio, while its 45/45/20/45° viewing angles and 5/11 ms (Tr/Td) response times support basic multimedia and UI interactions.

The display runs in TN mode with a normally white, transmissive configuration, complemented by an antiglare surface (Haze 42%) and 2H hard coating to reduce reflections and enhance durability. It supports 262K colors with 45% NTSC coverage, offering adequate color fidelity for industrial use.

For connectivity, it employs a 20-pin LVDS (6-bit) interface, enabling integration with a wide range of systems. Running at 60Hz, the panel operates efficiently on a 3.3V power supply.

Furthermore, the integrated single CCFL backlight is rated for 12,000 hours, though it lacks an onboard driver—requiring external support. Designed for resilience, the panel withstands operating temperatures from -20°C to 60°C, with safe storage between 0°C and 50°C.


Technical Precautions :-

  • Always turn off the power supply when you are inserting or disconnecting it from the input connector.
  • Wipe off water drop immediately as it may cause discoloration or spots.
  • Please handle with great care. It may broken or cracked if dropped or bumped on hard surface.
  • Do not try to open or modify the module assembly.
  • At the insertion or removal of the Signal Interface Connector do not rotate or tilt the Interface Connector of the TFT Module. It may damage the panel.
  • Severe temperature condition may  result in different luminance, response time.
