BTH BU-10K U-Shape Photo Sensor

The BTH BU-10K is a U-Shape Photo Sensor built for precise detection of small opaque objects as small as Ø0.5 mm. It features a 10 mm slot width and operates with a 940 nm infrared LED, ensuring reliable sensing in industrial environments. The sensor supports versatile output types including PNP/NPN, NO/NC, with light-on/dark-on modes for flexible integration.

Powered by 12–24 VDC, it consumes only 18 mA and handles up to 100 mA load current at 24 VDC. Its fast 1 ms response time allows accurate operation in dynamic applications. Designed with PC housing and IP64 protection, it resists dust and splashes. The BU-10K endures shock (50G) and vibration in all axes, making it suitable for harsh environments. Operating in -10°C to +55°C, it connects via a 2 m pre-wired cable for easy installation.
