The (Pepperl+Fuchs) P&F NBB2-12GM50-E2-V1 Inductive Sensor (NBB212GM50E2V1), with part number 326161-0027, is a robust flush-mount inductive proximity sensor with a rated sensing distance of 2 mm, designed for precise object detection in compact industrial applications.

It operates using a PNP normally open (NO) switching function, with 3-wire DC output and a wide voltage range of 5–36 V DC. Its fast switching frequency of up to 3500 Hz supports high-speed detection tasks.

The sensor offers reliable performance with reverse polarity and pulsing short-circuit protection, while maintaining a low voltage drop (≤ 1 V) and minimal off-state current (max. 20 µA). A multihole yellow LED clearly indicates switching status.

Built with a durable brass housing coated in white bronze, and a green PBT sensing face, the unit provides exceptional durability. It meets IP65, IP66, IP67, and IP68 protection ratings, allowing it to operate in harsh environments, including wet and dusty conditions.

It is marine-approved (DNVGL), has a temperature range of -40 to +85 °C, and a threaded M12 x 1 form factor for simple installation using standard M12 nuts. The unit connects via a 3-pin M12 connector plug, with a total length of 64.5 mm.
