The Panasonic LX-101-P-Z Color Mark Sensor, part number ULXp101PZ, conforms to CE Marking Directive Compliance, ensuring compliance with EMC and RoHS directives. Its sensing range spans 10 ± 3 mm (0.394 ± 0.118 in), with a spot size of 1 x 5 mm (0.039 x 0.197 in) at a setting distance of 10 mm (0.394 in). The LX-101-P-Z operates within a supply voltage range of 12 to 24 V DC ± 10%. It offers versatile functionality with normal and ECO modes. Normal mode consumes 750 mW or less. ECO mode consumes 600 mW or less. At 24 V supply voltage, normal mode has a maximum current consumption of 30 mA or less. ECO mode has a maximum current consumption of 25 mA or less.

Equipped with PNP open-collector transistors for Output 1. It features a maximum source current of 100 mA. Applied voltage is 30 V DC or less. Residual voltage is 1.5 V or less at 100 mA source current. Output 1 incorporates short-circuit protection. It offers various operation modes. These include Mark mode (Light-ON / Dark-ON) and Color mode (Consistent-ON / Inconsistent-ON). This facilitates auto-setting and teaching.
