The Panasonic GX-H12B-P Proximity Sensor is a compact, high-precision inductive proximity sensor engineered for robust industrial performance. It features a maximum sensing distance of 4.0 mm with a stable sensing range up to 3.3 mm, delivering reliable metal detection even under temperature fluctuations or voltage variations. Designed for repeatability and accuracy, it offers a repeatability of ≤ 0.04 mm and hysteresis ≤ 20%.
Operating on a 12–24 V DC supply, the sensor provides a PNP open-collector output, handling up to 100 mA with a response frequency of 500 Hz, ensuring fast and precise switching. Built-in short-circuit and reverse polarity protection enhance system safety.
Constructed with a durable PBT housing, the GX-H12B-P achieves an IP68/IP68g protection rating, withstanding oil, water immersion, and thermal shock. It endures vibrations up to 20 G and shocks up to 1,000 G, ensuring long-term reliability in demanding applications. The unit includes a 1 m oil-resistant cable, extendable to 100 m for flexible installations.
