Panasonic GX-H12A Inductive Proximity Sensor
The Panasonic GX-H12A Inductive Sensor, (GXH12A, UGXH12A) is a compact inductive proximity sensor designed for precision detection in demanding environments. With a maximum operation distance of 4.0 mm and a stable sensing range of 0 to 3.3 mm, it reliably detects standard ferrous targets (20×20×1 mm) with 0.04 mm repeatability.
The sensor operates on 12–24 V DC with a low current consumption of 15 mA and provides an NPN open-collector output (normally open), supporting up to 100 mA load current. Built-in orange LED indication simplifies on-site status verification.
Engineered for industrial durability, the GX-H12A offers IP68/IP68g protection, withstanding extreme water and oil resistance testing, temperature shocks, and prolonged submersion. It also endures 1,000 G shock and 20 G vibration levels. Supplied with a 1-meter oil-resistant cable, the sensor supports extension up to 100 meters.
CE compliant with EMC and RoHS directives, it’s ideal for factory automation and harsh process environments.
