The Kyocera KCG057QV1DC-G500 LCD Module with Touch 5.7″ CSTN-LCD display features a 320×240 QVGA resolution with 70 PPI, providing a good balance between screen clarity and pixel density for compact devices. The active area of 115.2×86.4 mm and outline dimension of 144×104.8×15.3 mm ensures a compact form factor suitable for various applications.
With a luminance of 280 cd/m² and a contrast ratio of 55:1, the display offers moderate brightness and image clarity, suitable for most indoor applications. The viewing angles of 50/50/20/35 (CR≥2) allow for decent visibility from different positions, though best viewed directly. The response time of 180/170 ms (Tr/Td) ensures reasonably smooth transitions for most static and dynamic content.
Operating in STN, Normally Black, Transmissive mode, the display is energy-efficient and ideal for low-power devices. It supports color with 38% NTSC coverage and uses a 20-pin parallel data interface. The backlight is powered by a single CCFL, with a typical lifetime of 75,000 hours.
