The Datalogic S5N-PA-5-C01-PP Photoelectric Sensor (952001061) is a reliable sensor designed for diffuse beam detection. With a nominal sensing distance of 700 mm, it efficiently identifies white targets, such as Kodak 90% reflectance surfaces of 100 x 100 mm. Its trimmer sensitivity adjustment ensures precision, while the radial 90° optic position offers flexibility for diverse applications.

This sensor features a robust PNP output with NO and NC functionality, handling up to 100 mA load current with minimal voltage drop (≤2V at 100mA). It operates on a 10–30 VDC supply, consuming ≤35 mA with leakage current ≤10 μA. Its high switching frequency of 1 kHz and a response time of just 500 µs make it suitable for dynamic environments.

Designed for durability, the sensor’s housing is made from PBT and PMMA, providing excellent resistance to shocks, vibrations, and environmental factors. It meets IP67 protection standards, ensuring functionality in harsh industrial settings. LED indicators (yellow for output and green for stability) facilitate monitoring, while built-in protections, such as short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection, enhance reliability.
