The Datalogic S3Z series sensor, with product number S3Z-PR-5-B01-PD (S3ZPR5B01PD) and part number 95B010111, uses polarized retroreflective optics and emits red light at 665 nm. It connects via an M8 connector and operates with a power supply of 10 to 30 VDC, drawing a maximum of 30 mA.
The sensor has a PNP Dark output type, with a maximum output current of 100 mA and a sensing distance ranging from 0.05 to 4 meters. It responds quickly with a 1 ms response time and can switch at frequencies up to 500 Hz.
Mechanically, the sensor is well-protected with an IP67 rating, featuring a body made of PBT and a PC cover for indicators. It can withstand vibrations up to 0.5 mm amplitude at 10 to 55 Hz frequency for every axis and shock resistance of 11 ms (30 G) for six shocks in each axis.
