The Baumer  OR18.ZI-11157800 photoelectric sensor (OR18.ZI-PW1P.71O/B005) is a cylindrical diffuse sensor designed for detecting objects with intensity difference up to 800 mm. It features a pulsed infrared diode (880 nm) as the light source, ensuring reliable performance. The sensor includes green and yellow LEDs for alignment, lens status, and output indication.

The Baumer OR18.ZI-11157800 Photoelectric Sensor allows sensing distance adjustment using a 270° potentiometer and offers a fast response/release time of <1 ms, making it suitable for high-speed applications. The device operates on a 12–30 VDC supply voltage, with a typical consumption of 30–40 mA, and supports PNP output with light/dark operation modes. Built-in short circuit and reverse polarity protection ensures safety.

Constructed with ABS TERLURAN housing and a PMMA optical front, the sensor is IP67-rated, resisting dust and water. Its compact cylindrical threaded design (18 mm diameter, 67.2 mm length) and M12 4-pin connector simplify installation.
