The Sick Sick I17-SA213 Safety Switch (6025067) is designed for high-reliability safety applications. With two positive action N/C contacts and one N/O contact, it ensures effective monitoring of safety-critical machinery. The switch operates with a maximum retaining force of ≤12 N and supports up to 7,200 actuations per hour, making it suitable for high-frequency operations. It accommodates actuation from three directions and functions at approach speeds of ≤10 m/min.

The I17-SA213 features a robust housing. It is made from glass-fiber reinforced thermoplastic. This construction ensures durability in harsh environments. The switch offers an IP67 enclosure rating. It provides excellent protection against dust and water ingress. It features slow-action switching elements and supports a rated operating current of 3 A at 240 V AC or 2 A at 24 V DC. The switch has a mechanical life of 1 million switching cycles and includes short-circuit protection with a 2 A gG fuse.

Three M20 cable glands facilitate connections, accommodating conductor cross-sections up to 1.5 mm². External safety-related logic units handle fault monitoring, compensating for the switch’s lack of internal fault detection.
