The Sick GTB6-N4212 Photoelectric Sensor ( part of the GTB6 series ), is a compact photoelectric proximity sensor designed for reliable object detection with background suppression, making it ideal for cluttered or reflective industrial environments. It features a visible red PinPoint LED (650 nm) with a sharp Ø6 mm light spot at 100 mm, ensuring precise detection from 35 mm to 140 mm, with a maximum range up to 250 mm.

Equipped with an NPN output supporting light/dark switching, selectable via a built-in control, it handles up to 100 mA output current and operates on 10–30 V DC with low 30 mA power consumption. The fast 625 µs response time and 1,000 Hz switching frequency support high-speed applications.

Its 12 × 31.5 × 21 mm ABS/PC housing, M8 4-pin connector, and IP67 rating ensure reliable operation in harsh environments. Supplied with a stainless steel bracket. Temperature range: –25 to +55 °C.
