Sharp LQ084S3DG01 LCD Module
The Sharp LQ084S3DG01 LCD Module 8.4″ TFT-LCD Display features an SVGA resolution of 800×600 pixels, providing a pixel density of 119 PPI, which ensures clear and detailed visuals. The active area of 170.4 mm (W) × 127.8 mm (H) makes it suitable for applications that require more screen real estate, such as industrial control panels or embedded systems.
Operating in TN (Twisted Nematic) mode, the display is normally white and transmissive, meaning it relies on ambient light for visibility. The antireflection treatment enhances readability by reducing glare. With a luminance of 350 cd/m² and a contrast ratio of 320:1, the display offers decent brightness and contrast for indoor use.
The viewing angles are 80° horizontally and 45° vertically, which provides adequate visibility but may not be optimal for wider viewing angles. The response time of 7/23 ms ensures smooth transitions for most general applications.
The backlight is powered by 2 CCFL tubes with a lifespan of 50,000 hours, but it requires an external driver. Operating temperatures range from -30°C to 80°C, making it suitable for harsh environments.
