Panasonic PM-L45-P Photoelectric Sensor

The Panasonic PM-L45-P Photoelectric Sensor, designed with a fixed sensing range of 6 mm (0.236 in), excels at detecting small opaque objects measuring 0.8 × 1.2 mm (0.031 × 0.047 in) with high precision. It features hysteresis and repeatability of 0.05 mm (0.002 in) or less and 0.01 mm (0.0004 in) or less, respectively, ensuring reliable performance in industrial applications. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 5 to 24 V DC with ±10% ripple and consumes a low current of 15 mA or less, equipped with a PNP open-collector transistor output supporting up to 50 mA sink current and a maximum applied voltage of 30 V DC.

Protected by an IP64 rating according to IEC standards, the Panasonic PM-L45-P U-Shaped Photoelectric Sensor is resistant to dust ingress and operates effectively in ambient temperatures ranging from -25 to +55 ℃ (-13 to +131 ℉). It maintains reliable functionality under varying humidity levels of 5 to 85% RH, suitable for storage environments extending from 5 to 95% RH. The sensor includes an orange LED indicator that lights up under light received conditions, facilitating easy monitoring of operational status.
