The Panasonic NA1-5 Body Picking Sensor (UNA15, NA15) complies with CE marking directives, offering a sensing height of 100 mm and a versatile range from 0.2 to 3 m (extendable to 1 m in SHORT mode). Operating on 12 to 24 V DC, it consumes minimal power, with the emitter drawing 0.5 W or less and the receiver 0.8 W or less.

Equipped with NPN open-collector transistors for output, it offers flexibility in integration, while the incorporation of short-circuit protection enhances safety during operation.

Featuring a compact design and robust construction using materials like heat-resistant ABS and acrylic, the sensor offers IP62-rated protection against dust and water ingress, making it suitable for challenging environments. Its wide operating temperature range from -10 to +55 ℃ ensures consistent performance even in harsh conditions. Additionally, the sensor’s interference prevention function minimizes false readings, ensuring accurate detection in industrial settings.
