The Panasonic LS-H201 Digital Laser Sensor is a high-precision digital laser sensor with an amplifier-separated configuration. Designed in a compact rectangular shape, it provides exceptional accuracy for a wide range of applications. Compatible with LS-501 series amplifiers, the sensor is ideal for detecting opaque, translucent, or transparent objects.
Its advanced coaxial reflective sensing technology offers versatile sensing ranges based on mode selection: from 150 mm in H-SP mode to 750 mm in HYPR mode, ensuring adaptability for varied operational needs. The LS-H201 uses a red semiconductor laser diode with a peak emission wavelength of 660 nm and is classified as a Class 1 laser for safe usage. Its spot size is approximately 2 mm in diameter at a 300 mm distance, making it suitable for detecting small objects.
The sensor operates efficiently within temperatures ranging from -10°C to +55°C and humidity levels of 35% to 85% RH. It features IP40-rated protection and robust resistance to vibration (10–500 Hz) and shocks (98 m/s²).
The Panasonic LS-H201 Digital Laser Sensor boasts an orange LED operation indicator for easy status monitoring. Constructed with durable PBT housing and a polycarbonate indicator cover, it includes a glass beam-emitting and receiving surface for added reliability.
