The Panasonic GX-H12A Inductive Proximity Sensor, (GXH12A, UGXH12A) with a maximum operation distance of 4.0 mm and a stable sensing range of 0 to 3.3 mm, ensures reliable detection of standard sensing objects like iron sheets measuring 20 × 20 × 1 mm. It maintains hysteresis of 20% or less and repeatability of 0.04 mm or less along and perpendicular to the sensing axis, offering precise performance in industrial applications.
Operating on a supply voltage range of 12 to 24 V DC, the Panasonic GX-H12A Inductive Proximity Sensor consumes minimal current (15 mA or less) and features an NPN open-collector transistor output with a maximum sink current of 100 mA. Its normally open output operation and a maximum response frequency of 500 Hz are indicated by an orange LED, providing clear visual feedback for monitoring.
With robust IP68 and IP68g protection ratings, the sensor withstands harsh environments, including vibration resistance up to 20 G and shock resistance up to 10,000 m/s².
