The Panasonic GX-F12B Inductive Proximity Sensors, part number UGF12B, offers a maximum operation distance of 4.0 mm ± 8%, with a stable sensing range of 0 to 3.3 mm. It detects standard sensing objects like iron sheets measuring 20 × 20 × 1 mm. With hysteresis at 20% or less of the operation distance and a repeatability of 0.04 mm or less along and perpendicular to the sensing axis, this sensor ensures precise and reliable detection.

Operating on a supply voltage of 12 to 24 V DC, the GX-F12BB has a current consumption of 15 mA or less. It features an NPN open-collector transistor output. This output supports a maximum sink current of 100 mA and an applied voltage of 30 V DC or less. It has a residual voltage of 2 V or less at 100 mA sink current. The sensor has a normally closed output operation and a response frequency of up to 500 Hz. An orange LED lights up when the output is ON.

The Panasonic GX-F12B Inductive Proximity Sensor is built to withstand harsh industrial environments with an IP68 protection rating. The sensor  also offers vibration resistance of 10 to 500 Hz frequency and 3 mm double amplitude in X, Y, and Z directions.  It can endure shock resistance up to 10,000 m/s².  It features a PBT enclosure and a 1 m oil, heat, and cold-resistant cabtyre cable, extendable up to 100 m. The sensor complies with EMC and RoHS directives and is manufactured in China, weighing approximately 20 g.
