The Panasonic EX-F1 Photoelectric Sensor, model UEXF1, adheres to EMC and RoHS directives, making it suitable for detecting liquids within transparent resin pipes. It supports outer diameters of 6 to 13 mm and a wall thickness of 1 mm. Operating on a 12 to 24 V DC supply with a tolerance of ±10% ripple, the sensor consumes 30 mA or less. Its NPN open-collector transistor output handles up to 100 mA sink current, maintaining a residual voltage of 1 V or less at this load. Output operation is switchable between Light-ON (Liquid-absent-ON) and Dark-ON (Liquid-present-ON). It includes built-in short-circuit protection. The response time is 2 ms or less.
The Panasonic EX-F1 Photoelectric Sensor operates optimally from -10 to +55 ℃ and can be stored from -20 to +70 ℃, with humidity levels of 35 to 85% RH. It withstands up to 3,000 lx of incandescent light and ensures electrical reliability with 1,000 V AC for one minute and 20 MΩ or more insulation resistance. Designed for durability, it resists vibrations of 10 to 150 Hz with a 0.75 mm double amplitude. It also withstands shocks of 100 m/s² acceleration in all directions. The emitting element is an infrared LED, providing reliable performance.
Constructed with a polycarbonate enclosure, the sensor includes nylon tying bands and silicone anti-slip tubes for secure installation. It features a 1 m long, 0.1 mm² 3-core cabtyre cable, extendable up to 50 m with appropriate cabling. The sensor’s net weight is approximately 15 g, and its gross weight is about 60 g. Accessories provided include two tying bands and two anti-slip tubes. The Panasonic EX-F1 sensor is manufactured in Japan, ensuring high quality and reliability.
