The Leuze KDU-M12-4A-V1-020 Connection Cable is a robust, chemical-resistant M12 female connector designed for industrial applications. It operates at a maximum voltage of 250 V AC/DC and features a 4-pin configuration with A-coded axial orientation for easy connectivity. The connector is equipped with a nickel-plated diecast zinc screw lock, ensuring secure attachment, and includes a self-locking mechanism with a recommended torque of 0.6 Nm.
The cable measures 2,000 mm and is sheathed in PVC, which is free from CFC, cadmium, silicone, and lead, making it environmentally friendly. This PVC sheathing is highly resistant to oil, gasoline, and chemicals while also being flame-retardant, in compliance with UL 1581 VW1 and CSA FT1 standards.
The connector’s design also supports 2,000,000 bending cycles for flexible use, with a minimum bending radius of 10x the cable diameter for flexible applications and 5x for stationary use. It operates within a temperature range of -30°C to 80°C, suitable for both flexible and stationary setups. With a net weight of 92 g and a width across flats of 13 mm, it is easy to handle and install in tight spaces. The connector offers protection levels of IP65 and IP67, ensuring reliability in harsh industrial environments.
