The Leuze Sensor HT46C/4P-M12 (HT46C4PM12, 50127048) is a photoelectric sensor operating on a diffuse reflection principle with background suppression. The sensor provides an operating range from 0.005 to 3 meters for white objects. It can detect black objects up to 1.5 meters away. The sensor utilizes a fixed focus with a red LED light source. The LED emits at a wavelength of 630 nm. This ensures reliable detection in diverse conditions.
It utilizes a PNP transistor as a switching element with a switching frequency of 250 Hz and a response time of 2 ms. The sensor is housed in a plastic casing suitable for a wide range of temperatures from -40°C to 60°C, making it versatile for industrial applications.
