The Leuze FT328I.X3/4P Photoelectric Sensor (Part No. 50133940) is a compact, high-performance diffuse reflection sensor designed for the detection of dark objects at short range. Featuring V-optics technology, it ensures precise object detection across various surfaces.

With an infrared LED light source (850 nm), the Leuze FT328I.X3/4P Photoelectric Sensor offers a guaranteed operating range of up to 0.07 m for black objects (6% reflectivity) and 0.11 m for white objects (90% reflectivity). The switching frequency of 500 Hz and a response time of just 1 ms make it ideal for fast industrial applications.

The FT328I.X3/4P supports both light switching and dark switching using a PNP transistor switching element. It operates on a 10-30V DC power supply with polarity reversal protection and short-circuit protection for enhanced reliability.

For connectivity, the sensor includes a 2-meter, 4-wire PUR-sheathed cable with a wire cross-section of 0.2 mm², ensuring robust signal transmission. The M18 x 1 mm thread size and compact dimensions (Ø18 mm x 46 mm) facilitate easy installation.

Built for harsh environments, the FT328I.X3/4P features an IP67-rated plastic and stainless steel housing (V2A), with a plastic lens cover, providing excellent durability against dust and water ingress. It operates efficiently in extreme temperatures, ranging from -40 to 60°C, and is cULus approved, complying with IEC 60947-5-2 standards.
