The Hitachi SP14Q006 LCD Module  is 5.7″ QVGA display offers fundamental functionality tailored for basic monochrome applications. With a resolution of 320×240 pixels and a pixel density of 70 PPI, it provides sufficient clarity for displaying text and simple graphics. The active display area of 115.185×86.385 mm is efficiently housed within the 167×109×10 mm outer frame, making it suitable for integration into compact or space-constrained devices. This balance between active and total dimensions not only optimizes screen usability but also ensures the display remains adaptable for a wide range of embedded or portable applications.
Despite its modest luminance of 60 cd/m², the transflective operating mode improves visibility in both low and ambient lighting conditions. Moreover, the contrast ratio of 5:1 (Typ.), while low, is typical for FSTN technology and adequate for displaying monochrome content. The display also offers viewing angles of 45/45/40/40 degrees (CR≥2), which are sufficient for direct viewing but somewhat limited off-axis.
The active response time of 336/148 ms (Tr/Td) is considerably slow, which means the display performs best in applications involving static or gradually changing visuals. While this may limit its use in fast-paced or video-intensive scenarios, it remains well-suited for devices requiring steady image presentation, such as industrial panels or monochrome data displays.
Nevertheless, the antiglare treatment helps reduce reflections, enhancing readability. Furthermore, the 14-pin parallel data interface, support for both 3.3V and 5.0V power, and WLED backlight with 40K hours of life contribute to its reliability. Lastly, the wide operating (-20 to 70°C) and storage (-30 to 80°C) temperature ranges underscore its suitability for industrial or rugged environments.

- Always turn off the power supply when you are inserting or disconnecting it from the input connector.
- Wipe off water drop immediately as it may cause discoloration or spots.
- Please handle with great care. It may broken or cracked if dropped or bumped on hard surface.
- Do not try to open or modify the module assembly.
- At the insertion or removal of the Signal Interface Connector do not rotate or tilt the Interface Connector of the TFT Module. It may damage the panel.
- Severe temperature condition may result in different luminance, response time.
