The Datalogic  TLU-015 Contrast Sensor is a high-performance contrast sensor tailored for precise and dynamic industrial applications. It operates on a 10-30 V DC power supply with reverse polarity protection and consumes a maximum of 80 mA. Utilizing advanced light emission technology, it features green (526 nm) and red (630 nm) LEDs for the TLµ-0/1xx models and white LED (400-700 nm) for the TLµ-4/5xx models. Its teach-in push-button and remote setting capabilities ensure easy calibration, accommodating up to four stored settings in the cable version.

The sensor offers both PNP and NPN output configurations, along with an analog output option, delivering a maximum output current of 200 mA. With a rapid response time of just 25 µs for TLµ-5xx models and a switching frequency of up to 20 kHz, the TLU-015 excels in high-speed detection tasks. The sensor’s spot size varies, including a minimum size of Ø 3 mm for TLµ-4xx/5xx models, ensuring precise performance.

Built to withstand tough environments, the TLU-015 features a durable ZAMA housing, a glass lens, and IP67-rated mechanical protection. It operates reliably between -10°C and 55°C, offering resilience against vibrations and shocks per EN60068 standards. With versatile connectivity options like a shielded cable or M12 connector, it supports seamless integration.
