The Baumer UNAM 18I6903/S14 (UNAM 18I6903/S14, 10148822) is an ultrasonic distance measuring sensor delivers precise, non-contact detection within a scanning range of 100 to 1000 mm. It ensures repeat accuracy down to 0.5 mm and features a resolution of < 0.3 mm, making it ideal for demanding positioning tasks.
It utilizes a 4–20 mA current output (configurable as 20–4 mA) for robust analog signal transmission, and its teach-in adjustment and flashing target indication aid in quick alignment. Dual-color LEDs (yellow/red) actively indicate operating and target status.
The sensor operates reliably in temperatures ranging from –10 to +60 °C, with a fast < 80 ms response time. Its nickel-plated brass housing, IP67 rating, and standard M12 connector ensure durable, secure integration into industrial environments.
