The Baumer OR18.ZI-11157794 photoelectric sensor (OR18.ZI-PW1P.71O/B013) is a cylindrical diffuse sensor with intensity difference detection, designed for precise sensing up to 300 mm. It uses a pulsed infrared diode (880 nm) as its light source, ensuring accurate and consistent performance. The sensor includes a green LED for alignment and soiled lens indication and a yellow LED for output status, enhancing ease of use.

For added flexibility, it features a 270° potentiometer for sensing distance adjustment, making it adaptable to various applications. It operates on a 12–30 VDC supply voltage and consumes 30–40 mA. The sensor delivers a fast response and release time of <1 ms, making it suitable for high-speed operations. Its PNP output circuitry supports both light and dark operation modes.
