Engineers benefit from enhanced signal clarity via the built-in polarization filter and reciprocal influence suppression, allowing for reliable operation even in tight sensor arrays. The alignment optical axis is under 2°, ensuring easy and accurate setup. The sensor reacts swiftly, with a response and release time of less than 0.25 ms.
Operators can adjust sensitivity using either Teach-in functionality or IO-Link, supporting seamless integration into Industry 4.0 systems. The output circuit is push-pull, capable of both sourcing and sinking, and supports light/dark operate modes. The sensor supports output currents up to 100 mA and includes built-in short-circuit and reverse polarity protection.
Powered by a 10–30 VDC supply, it consumes a typical current of 30 mA. The green LED indicates power, while a yellow LED shows switch status. With a compact rectangular housing (32.3 × 12.9 × 23 mm) made of ASA plastic and PMMA optics, the sensor maintains IP67 protection and operates in -25 to +60 °C environments.
